Now Hiring - Sales Manager in Clementon, NJ

Our client - a distributor of engineered products to the construction and utility industries - is searching for a Sales Manager with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Direct Hire position!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving operational targets by providing business plans and monitoring the performance of the sales team
• Coach/Supervise the members of the sales team to consistently deliver a high standard of customer care, taking actions to plan for future growth, while also ensuring all sales and operational goals are met.
• Implement marketing campaigns and product launch strategies.
• Generate sales opportunities with existing and new business contacts through personal sales calls, conference calls, or webinars.
• Present product specifications to the engineering and contractor communities as necessary.
• Initiate quote proposals for bid estimating and follow up.
• Review blueprints and perform take offs as necessary.
• Ensure that all business process standards are observed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to drive sales.
• Communicate customer needs to branch personnel clearly.
• Ability to grow an existing customer base and develop new accounts.
• Track upcoming projects for addition to bid calendar.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, time management and presentation skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Prior experience with sales and estimating to contractor or engineering community.
• Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Successfully prioritize and complete work within specified timeframes.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent Director level sales experience.
• Proven track-record of sales experience in similar field.
• Outside utility construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
